    GUILFORD — For over a decade, Valley Grange has honored a local citizen each year its with “Community Citizen of the Year” award.

While the first day of spring was March 20, a coating of several inches of snow fell on the region three and a half weeks later from April 12 into April 13 to blanket the area in white such as at the Marion Doore Park on Pleasant Street in Dover-Foxcroft.
