D-F to unveil new community park with ribbon cutting

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Tuesday, July 16 the town of Dover Foxcroft will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil its new community park. The ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. at the Brown’s Mill Park. Community members are encouraged to help welcome the new addition and attendees will also have a chance to submit suggestions for naming the new recreational park.

The new park walking trails will give community members the chance to check out some of the beautiful scenery along the Piscataquis River while incorporating more physical activity into their lifestyle. The park will also offer river access that will give canoes/kayaks a safe spot to enter the river. Members from the project development team will be in attendance to discuss the project and answer any questions.
