BRIDGING OVER

Cub Scouts of Pack 61 were recently honored for their achievements at the Blue and Gold ceremony at the Grace Bible Church in Sangerville. The Scouts worked diligently throughout the season to complete the achievement requirements then, during the bridging ceremony Scouts literally “cross the bridge,” to receive their badges earning their rank.

Cub Scouts in the Webelos II rank (fifth-graders) completed the Cub Scout program during the Arrow of Light ceremony which is the highest achievement in Cub Scouting. Boy Scouts and leaders of Troop 61 participated in the ceremony to receive those Cubs bridging to Boy Scouts. The Scouts all had some fun performing skits and songs and everyone enjoyed the homemade dishes the Scout’s families made.
