MILO — Ninety-five years ago in 1930, a group of women with a common interest in gardening wanted to share their knowledge and talents with others in their small neighboring communities in Piscataquis County.

GUILFORD — Last October news broke that the Piscataquis Regional YMCA on Park Street in Dover-Foxcroft would be closing in the immediate future with financial reasons being cited for the closure of the facility that had been in operation since 1988.

GUILFORD — Piscataquis Community Elementary School students will demonstrate their skills as classes, groups and individuals using their voices and instruments to perform traditional folk songs, sea shanties, ukulele, chorus and band.
