Photo courtesy of April Taylor SUMMER READING — Camp Readlot comes to the Thompson Free Library in Dover-Foxcroft from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 18. Library volunteer April Taylor and her reading therapy dog Erma Opal have conducted Camp Readalot for elementary schools in Florida but this will be a first at the Thompson Free Library. Children can come to the children’s area where we will have tents, sleeping bags and fake campfires with blankets and camping props spread out. The kids can read with Erma in a tent if they want to or participate in some camping activities. We will have hotdogs, s’mores and cupcakes for participants. Camp Readalot is a free event.
