  ORONO — Dexter Regional High School’s football season ended in the opening round of the LTC Class D playoffs as Orono avenged a regular-season loss to the Tigers with a 35-18 victory.

   DOVER-FOXCROFT — Several members of the Foxcroft Academy boys and girls soccer teams received postseason honors from the Penobscot Valley Conference (PVC).

Three area runners placed in the top half of their respective fields Saturday during the state high school cross country championships at the Twin Brook Recreation Area in Cumberland.

     A dozen soccer players from the region were honored for their play this past season by being named to their respective Maine Soccer Coaches Regional All-Star Teams.
