District meeting set for May 31  DOVER-FOXCROFT — The RSU 68 school board formally approved a budget of $12,817,099 for the 2022-23 academic year, during a meeting held May  10 at the SeDoMoCha School.

BUCKSPORT – The Penquis Valley High School outdoor track team took part in a Penobscot Valley Conference meet at Bucksport High School on May 12.

MILO – When the Harrigan Learning Center and Museum reopens for the season on Sunday, May 15, visitors will be greeted by a dinosaur.

SKOWHEGAN – Skowhegan Savings held its 152nd Annual Meeting of the Corporators announcing that the bank had historic financial performance in 2021.

BANGOR – Eastern Maine Development Corporation was awarded $600,000 to provide workforce development services to young people and businesses in Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties.

DEXTER – Foxcroft Academy took advantage of having baserunners in every inning by scoring in each of the first three innings for a 5-3 victory at Dexter Regional High School in an interclass baseball game on Monday afternoon.

GUILFORD — The SAD 4 school board approved a 2022-23 budget totaling $7,772,120 during an April 12 meeting at Piscataquis Community Elementary School.

DOVER-FOXCROFT – A pair of land use ordinance amendments have been accepted as written by the Dover-Foxcroft Planning Board, and will now be sent to the selectboard for final approval before being placed on the Tuesday, June 14 referendum ballot.
