The Piscataquis Regional YMCA Waves concluded a successful swim season with a visit to the Wallace Pool on the University of Maine campus March 3-5 to compete against YMCA teams from across Maine.

Mayo Regional Hospital has signed an interim agreement with Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS). This non-binding agreement follows a substantial amount of work completed since August when Mayo Regional Hospital submitted a letter of intent with the Brewer-based health system.

The Sangerville Public Library has received a $500 grant from the Rose and Samuel Rudman Library Trust of the Maine Community Foundation. The grant money has been used to buy children's books by Maine authors and illustrators.
