Girl Scouts of Maine announces that it will host a new member sign-up event for potential members and volunteers at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 at the Ridge View Community School.

Mayo Regional Hospital has announced a “Ski Day” for its employees and families in February. The first 100 employees to register are able to ski for free. Officials at the hospital say that this is to encourage employee wellness while calling attention to American Heart Month, which is recognized throughout February.

On Saturday, Jan. 25 the Foxcroft Academy wrestling team hosted its last regular season meet.  This event is always special as it is Senior Night, where all the senior wrestlers are recognized before the meet with flowers for their parents. This night became even more special as senior Rico Ayala was looking for his 150th career win.
