James McGarry, 48, of Bangor, ME passed away at home surrounded by his wife, children and mother-in-law, on July 13, 2016. James was born on Feb. 25, 1968, at Idaho Falls, ID, the son of Kathryn R. McGarry Cortez and Francis McGarry.
Jim grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1986. Jim loved watching his childrens’ activities, fishing, mountain biking, soccer and following his favorite sports teams.
James is survived by his wife of 25 years, Marcia; and their son, Bradford; and their daughter, Camryn, all of Bangor.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 22 at the Union Church, Greenville, ME, with committal to follow the service at the Greenville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in support of his family: 44 Boyd St. #19, Bangor, ME 04401.
