BLACK FLY FESTIVAL RETURNS TO MILO -- A mid-morning parade traveled along Park and West Main streets during a past Black Fly Festival in Milo. The 2026 edition of the festival will be Saturday, June 6 with the parade starting at 10 a.m.
Black Fly Festival returns Saturday
MILO — The Town of Milo invites the public to join a day of fun and festivities at the annual Black Fly Festival on Saturday, June 6.
The parade will line up at 9:30 a.m. by Maine Savings Federal Credit Union on Park Street and will proceed at 10 a.m. toward downtown, ending at the Penquis Valley School campus.

BLACK FLY FESTIVAL RETURNS TO MILO — A mid-morning parade traveled along Park and West Main streets during a past Black Fly Festival in Milo. The 2026 edition of the festival will be Saturday, June 6 with the parade starting at 10 a.m.
Dozens of vendors and crafters will be at the Veterans Memorial Park along the Sebec River on Water Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Live entertainment will be on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., provided by DJ Bobby Hartford.
