MEMORIAL DAY PARADE — The American Legion Post 41 color guard leads the 2023 Milo Memorial Day parade across the Henry “Butch” Heal Jr. Memorial Bridge as the procession traveled from the Post home to Evergreen Cemetery. This year’s parade will be at 10 a.m. on Monday.
Brownville and Milo Memorial Day events
American Legion Post 92 of Brownville Junction and American Legion Post 41 of Milo will mark Memorial Day on Monday, May 25 with several morning events.
American Legion Post 92 conducts a prayer and color guard presentation at 8 a.m. at the Brownville Junction Pine Tree Cemetery and at 8:30 a.m. at the Brownville Village cemetery. All are welcome to attend both.
At 10 a.m. a parade departs from American Legion Post 41 on West Main Street in Milo, with a 9 a.m. procession lineup The procession travels up Park Street to the Evergreen Cemetery for a ceremony.
