Firefighters save home from Milo fire

By Christopher Burns, Bangor Daily News Staff

MILO — Firefighters saved a home in Milo on Sunday.

The barn fire broke out about 12:15 p.m. off Elm Street, according to News Center Maine.

The flames destroyed the barn and consumed three acres, but crews kept the fire from spreading to a nearby home, saving it, the TV station reported.

No one was injured in the fire. A cat, however, was missing afterward.

The Maine fire marshal’s office is investigating.
