Thompson Free Library represented at Maine Arts Day

AUGUSTA — Maine Arts Day was held at the State House earlier in the month. Representatives from numerous organizations, including the Maine Arts Commission, the Maine Music Educators Association, the Maine Art Education Association and the Maine Library Association, highlighted their work in the Hall of Flags.

Director Jon Knepp from the Thompson Free Library represented the Dover-Foxcroft area well, participating with the Maine Library Association in its Hall of Flags display.

“It was great to see Jon from our beautiful Thompson Free Library under the State House Dome,” said Sen. Stacey Guerin, R–Glenburn. “Libraries hold a special place in my heart as two of my sons have worked as librarians in the past. It was wonderful to see the Library Association’s display and to chat with Jon!”
