MaineCF’s Piscataquis County Committee welcomes two new members

Sarah Curtis of Dover-Foxcroft and Pam Goulette of Guilford have joined the Maine Community Foundation’s Piscataquis County Committee.

MaineCF’s county committees are made up of community members who live or work in the county and serve as local ambassadors for the foundation, sharing their knowledge and providing on-the-ground local leadership for the foundation.

Curtis is a teacher with SAD 4 and is a volunteer for Teen Wilderness with the Piscataquis County Soil and Water District and is a foster volunteer for Rescue Charlie’s Friends. Goulette is a client service professional with H&R Block. She served on the SAD 4 school board for many years and is a volunteer with Pine Tree Hospice.

Other committee members include Wendy McKenney of Parkman, Suzannah Sinclair and Thomas Watt of Greenville, Jane Stitham of Dover-Foxcroft, John Tatko of Monson, Daniel White of Sebec and Maria Wooten of Bowerbank.

The Piscataquis County Committee’s volunteer advisors review grant proposals for MaineCF’s Community Building Grant Program and recommend grant awards from the Piscataquis County Fund.

Community Building supports a broad range of projects and organizations across the state, including arts, education, environment, economic development, and human services. In 2025, the Piscataquis County Fund awarded eight grants totaling $75,000.
