Dexter cheer finishes ninth at Class C championship

AUGUSTA — The Dexter Regional High School cheer team came in ninth at the 2026 Class C championship on Feb. 7 at the Augusta Civic Center.

The Tigers finished with a score of 58.4 points to place ninth among the 16 schools taking part — the top eight from Class C North and Class C South qualified at the regional finals the weekend prior.

The Lisbon High School/Hebron Academy cooperative won the title with 83.85 points, Lisbon’s fifth straight consecutive championship and eighth in the last 12 years.
