Eighteen from the region run in Millinocket Marathon/Half-Marathon
MILLINOCKET — Eighteen runners from across the region took part in the 10th annual Millinocket Half-Marathon on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Nick Mangino, 36 of Sangerville, ran in the marathon. He covered the 26.2 miles in a net time of 3 hours, 15 minutes, 8 seconds to place eighth overall among a field of 167 finishers.
Eddy Mead, 34 of Dover-Foxcroft, was the top finisher from the region’s participants in the half marathon. He ran the 13.1 miles in a net time of 1:22.26 to come in 14th among 2,136 finishers.
Nathan Hebert, 42 of Sangerville, had a time of 1:33.45 to place 54th. Jasper Makowski, 21 of Dover-Foxcroft, was also in the top 60, 58th in 1:34.41.
