Hackett, PA-C joins Primary Care, Dover-Foxcroft team

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Northern Light Mayo Hospital is pleased to welcome Brittany Hackett, PA-C, to its practitioner team at Northern Light Primary Care, Dover-Foxcroft.

Hackett joins the Dover-Foxcroft practice after working as a physician assistant at hospitals in Southern Maine. She also has experience in emergency medicine and urgent care, inpatient psychiatry and has served as a firefighter and advanced emergency medical technician.

Hackett enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

“I strive to treat all of my patients like family members,” she says. “I think that’s extremely important to me and to them. I try to be really friendly and down to earth, and I think my patients appreciate and benefit from that approach.”

Hackett is a graduate of the University of New England Physician Assistant Program. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She joins Rachel Kinney, FNP; Briana Martell, FNP; Vitor Martins da Silva, MD; Erin Miller, PA-C; Nathan Shepard, MD; Lori Towne, FNP; and Diana Vandermast, FNP at the Dover-Foxcroft practice. A full range of primary care services as well as walk-in access are offered at the practice.

Hackett and her family are excited about exploring all of the outdoor opportunities that Piscataquis County offers. She enjoys family activities, spending time with her dog, reading and running.
