Nosin’ ’round, Monson Collaborative Entrepreneur Expo

MONSON — The town of Monson Maine has a full day of activity Saturday, June 7. Starting with our annual Nosin’ ‘round Monson event, beginning at noon and the Entrepreneur Expo at 4 p.m. Stick your nose into all of the businesses around town. This is a day to be nosey! Ask questions of the owners, learn about their products and get to know what it is like to live and work in Monson. Over 13 businesses will be participating.

After exploring town head up to the Monson Gymnasium for the Entrepreneur Expo and enjoy a potluck dinner!

The Monson Collaborative is hosting the third annual microgranting award to Monson-based businesses, a distribution of $10,000. The public is invited to meet the business owners and review proposals at the event. This is a great opportunity to learn about all of the small businesses happening all around town, even if they don’t have a store front. After meeting with each applicant, visitors get to make their vote. Bring a dish for the potluck and get a second vote! Maximum two votes per person. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.

Nosin’ events are all through Monson along Route15, Pleasant Street and North Guilford Road. Look for the red signs!

Entrepreneur Expo is at 35 Greenville Road (Route 15) at the gymnasium from 4-6 p.m.

The Monson Collaborative brings together and promotes Monson businesses and organizations in support of outdoor recreation, the arts and food tourism.
