‘Share Your Sunshine Photo Contest’

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Central Hall Commons is excited to announce the “Share Your Sunshine Photo Contest”, a call to capture the beauty and bounty of local gardens.

Community calendar spotlight: Do you have a green thumb, or are you nurturing a budding love for gardening? We invite amateur and experienced gardeners of all ages in the Maine Highlands region to submit photos of their gardens for a chance to be featured in our exclusive 2025 community calendar. If you need assistance in photographing your gardens, please reach out to be connected with a local area amateur photographer. 

Showcase your garden: We want to see it all! From vibrant flower beds to thriving vegetable patches, enchanting fairy gardens to meticulously planned landscapes, and flourishing container displays, and even the early stages of a new bed – share your gardening journey, no matter the stage. Submit up to six of your favorite digital garden photos directly to operations@centralhallcommons.org.

Supporting a worthy cause: All proceeds from the calendar sales will directly benefit the maintenance and development of the Dementia Inclusive Community Garden located next door on the Wiley House property.

Central Hall Commons offers a vibrant calendar of events and activities for all ages and interests. From tai chi to trivia, meditation to game days, and age-friendly lunches to Community Conversations, there’s something for everyone. Share Your Sunshine Photo Contest details:

Open to all ages and skill levels in the Maine Highlands region.

Submit up to six digital garden photos to operations@centralhallcommons.org.

All entries support the Dementia Inclusive Community Garden.

Deadline for submissions: Oct. 15.
