Reindeer Run 5K scheduled for Dec. 7

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — In conjunction with the Hometown Holiday celebration, the Foxcroft Academy Key Club, along with clubs from Dexter, Nokomis, Greenville, PCHS and Penquis, will host the third annual Reindeer Run 5K run/walk on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. with registration from noon to 12:45 p.m. in the student center by the east entrance.

    The relatively flat course goes through town and entrants can take part through a toy or monetary donation. Proceeds will go toward the community Christmas projects to brighten the holidays for those in need. The first place male and female runners will receive a $25 cash prize, and the race will include drawings for two Christmas stockings and refreshments after finishing.
