Final 2023 book sale at Thompson Free Library

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The last 2023 Ten Cent Book Sale in the Thompson Free Library, 186 East Main Street, will be Thursday, Aug 31 from  9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, Sept 1 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, Sept 2 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Included in the sale are weeded and donated paperbacks and hardcovers, fiction and nonfiction, audio books, DVDs, and jigsaw puzzles. Proceeds from this sale are for children’s programming.

The library accepts only small amounts of clean and dry books to add to this sale. No old encyclopedias, no old textbooks, no multiple copy classroom sets. No donations taken afternoon on Wednesday, Aug 30. until January 2024 due to library basement remodeling.
