Auditions for Center Theatre holiday musical

DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Center Theatre has announced that auditions for Kris Kringle the Musical will take place on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept. 18 at the Theatre. Auditions will run from 3:30 o 5 p.m. each day. No advance preparation or experience is required. Adult actors of all ages are invited to audition as well as youth in fourth grade through high school. This two-act holiday musical will be performed between Dec. 9-17.

Patrick Myers, executive director of the Center Theatre, said that this will be a new holiday show for the Theatre, “This is a charming and entertaining story that reveals the untold story of a young Kris Kringle. During the course of the play we discover what happens when an evil toy company CEO crosses paths with a young Kris Kringle who unknowingly carries a curse with the power to destroy Christmas.”

The play will be directed by Derrick Buschmann and vocal direction will be provided by Deb Fournier.
