Piscataquis Democrats donate to Heart of Maine Resource Center

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Democrats continued their efforts to address hunger in local communities with the monthly collection of cereal and other staples at their headquarters on North Street in Dover-Foxcroft on Saturday, May 22. Once again, community members turned out to donate food, household goods and money to make this support of local food cupboards possible. This month’s recipient of the Democrats’ donation is the Heart of Maine Resource Center in Dexter.

The next collection day for food and money is Saturday, June 26 at Democratic Headquarters at 25 North Street in Dover-Foxcroft from 10 a.m. to noon. Donations can also be made at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/pcdcservice.

The Harmony Cares Food Cupboard will be the recipient on June 26. Community members are encouraged to support this effort to help our neighbors.
