Gerald J. Morey, Sr., 71, of Linneus died July 23, 2016 in Houlton with his family at his side. He was born July 17, 1945 in Caribou, the son of Raymond and Dora (Caron) Spaulding.
He is a veteran of U.S. Army serving during Vietnam. Gerald enjoyed working in the woods.
He is survived by 4 children Gerald Jr. and his wife Karin Morey of Hodgdon, Mechelle and her husband Dan Sanders of Hodgdon, Elizabeth and her husband Mark Cook of Littleton and Holly and her husband Charles Lorom of Littleton; ten grandchildren; and several siblings. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Brenda; two sons James and Albert; and several siblings.
A funeral service will be held 10am Thursday, July 28 with full military honors at Bowers Funeral Home 10 Water St. Houlton with the Rev. Wayne Robertson Off. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery Haynesville. To leave condolences lease visit www.bowersfuneral.com
