Protest in Milo

PROTEST — On Saturday, March 29 about 60 people in southern Piscataquis County gathered in Milo to peacefully protest a variety of President Donald Trump’s policies.

MILO — Sixty people from Piscataquis County and neighboring towns gathered on the Henry “Butch” Heal Bridge in Milo on Saturday morning, March 29. Those gathered were voicing continued alarm and worry over Trump’s  gutting of institutions that oversee veterans’ benefits, Social Security, education, medical research, and many more. The people at the rally represented an array of political beliefs. The group intends to expand its numbers and hold regular rallies.
