Historical society annual meeting on Tuesday

BROWNVILLE – The Brownville-Brownville Junction Historical Society will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. at the Parish House Museum at 72 Church Street. All are welcome to attend. The meeting agenda includes election of officers and board members as well as a discussion of plans for the museum for this summer.

Ongoing projects include gathering stories of people who live or have lived in Brownville, the Junction and surrounding unorganized territories. If you have a story to tell, please contact Susan Worcester at 207-965-8070 or email the historical society at brownvillehistorical@trcmaine.org.

Worcester says the group is always looking for new volunteers and new members. 

The museum will open for the season in mid June. Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as on special occasions such as Brownville Days and by appointment.
