PO-AlfredRobinsonOB    DOVER-FOXCROFT – Alfred E. Robinson, 79, husband of the late Roberta (Pearl) Robinson, passed away December 10, 2014, at his home. He was born November 17, 1935, in Bangor, the son of Alfred E. and Elinor (Ellis) Robinson.
    Al had a lifetime of service to A.E. Robinson Oil Co. in Dover-Foxcroft. He was a dedicated 35 year member of the Dover-Foxcroft Fire Department, serving as fire chief from 1978-1983. He had also been a part-time member of the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department for eight years.
    He is survived by a daughter, Elinor Reynolds and her husband, Ron, of Winter Haven, FL; a son, Peter Robinson and his wife, Gale, of Dover-Foxcroft; a son, Bill Robinson and his wife, Tammy, of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Barbara Marchelletta and her husband, Tony, of Etna; a daughter, Katie Pushor and her husband, Donn of Lebanon, ME; a son, Tim Robinson, and his wife, Diane, of Dover-Foxcroft; a step-daughter, Cindy Rowe and her husband, Ed, of Bangor. He also leaves a sister, Joan Conley; two brothers, Bill Robinson and his wife, Ginny, and Jim Robinson and his wife, Peggy; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, and a sister, Rosalie and her husband, Rev. Maynard Hammond.
    Friends were invited to call 6-8 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where a funeral service was conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, with Rev. Chad Poland officiating. Burial followed in the family lot in the Rural Grove Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to either Pine Tree Hospice, 883 W.
