Suspect shot during attempted robbery in Dover-Foxcroft

A man attempting to rob a convenience store in Dover-Foxcroft was shot on Thursday, police said in a Facebook post.
The attempted robbery and shooting occurred at the Store and More on Summer Street, and the suspect was taken to the Northern Light Mayo Hospital for treatment.
No names have been released at this time.
