BUCKSPORT — The Foxcroft Academy boys scored 93 points to place second among five schools during a Penobscot Valley Conference track meet at Bucksport High School on April 26.

Nine paddlers from across the region took part in the 2024 Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race on Saturday, April 20, traveling about 16.

DEXTER — Dexter Regional High School and Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln both entered Monday, April 22’s Class C North softball contest with unblemished records during the first week of the season.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The 50th annual Kiwanis Club of Dover-Foxcroft Piscataquis River Race is set for Saturday, April 27 from Guilford to Dover-Foxcroft.

OLD TOWN — The Dexter Regional High School boys outdoor track and field team began the 2024 season by placing fifth among a field of 11 teams at Old Town High School on April 19.

BANGOR — Penquis Valley High School junior Lucas Chai came in fourth in the triple jump at a Penquis Valley Conference outdoor track and field meet on Saturday, April 20 at Cameron Stadium.

BANGOR — The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly track & field awards on April 16 and Husson University freshman Abigail Conlogue of Brownville has been named Co-Rookie of the Week.

BREWER — The Foxcroft Academy outdoor track and field team began the 2024 season with a Penobscot Valley Conference meet hosted by Brewer High School at the Brewer Community School on April 17.
