DEXTER — Trailing 3-1 in the top of the seventh of a May 10 game at Dexter Regional High School, the Piscataquis Community High School baseball team was down to its final out with the bases empty.

BUCKSPORT — The Dexter Regional High School track team took part in a Penobscot Valley Conference meet May 10 at Bucksport High School, with both Tiger teams finishing in fifth place.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy boys finished in first place at a home Penobscot Valley Conference meet on May 9.

BREWER — The Piscataquis Community Middle School outdoor track & field team was in action on May 8 at the Brewer Community School.

BUCKSPORT — The Ridge View Community School outdoor track & field team competed in a middle school meet held at Bucksport High School on May 7.

HAMPDEN — The SeDoMoCha Middle School track team took part in a meet at Hampden Academy on Monday, May 6.

OLD TOWN — The Penquis Valley High School boys scored 27 points to finish fifth among a field of five teams at a Penobscot Valley Conference meet on May 4 at Old Town High School.

MILO — The new Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo/Brownville pool room will be ready for the summer 8-ball league.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy girls and boys teams both finished in first place during a home Penobscot Valley Conference meet on May 3.

NEWPORT — Outdoor track and field teams from Piscataquis Community Secondary School, Ridge View Community School, and SeDoMoCha Middle School took part in a meet on May 1 at Nokomis Regional High School.
