DEXTER — One year ago, a group of Dexter citizens and people from bordering towns came together to form the Age-Friendly Dexter Committee to consider how to build a community that meets the needs of all ages from childhood to old age.

Dover-Foxcroft resident Francis Crommett celebrated his 96th birthday at Pat's Pizza in town on Saturday night. His two grandchildren came up from Massachusetts to be with him, along with many local friends.

The Wassebec Genealogical Society is sponsoring a free workshop on Sunday, May 19 in the Sebec/Borestone Rooms at Mayo Regional Hospital.

Four generations of the Jackson family were together.

Eleanor Godreau, left of Dover-Foxcroft, recently posed for a photo featuring five generations of her family. Joining her were, from left, Anna Barton, Lisa Carr, Joshua Carr and Adalyn Carr. This is the second five-generation family group for Godreau.

TEWHEY -- A daughter, Lainey Elizabeth Tewhey, to Sabrina Sharrow and Brian Tewhey on February 8, 2018. She joins older brother Nolan Tewhey.
