Bertha F. Lancaster, 89, passed away July 20, 2016, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born June 9, 1927, in Kingman, the daughter of Ollie and Annie (Christophersen) Lancaster.
She was employed at Forster Manufacturing in Mattawamkeag for years.
Bertha is survived by three children, Guy Lancaster and Jean, Allen Lancaster and Marie, and Sandra Linscott; four siblings, Agnes Lancaster, Carolyn Lee, Geraldine Ogden, and Ollie Lancaster, Jr.; four grandchildren Roger and Russ Linscott II, Betsy Lancaster, and Babetta McCarthy; four great-grandchildren Wyatt McCarthy, Cheyenne Moody, Lauren and Autumn Linscott; two nephews Delmont Lee, Jr. and Reginald Ogden. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter Nancy Lancaster, two sisters Mary Gerard and Helen Nute; a brother, Harold Weston; and a nephew Lyle Lancaster.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon Saturday at Kingman Cemetery, with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Condolences may be left at www.clayfuneralhome.com.
