STROKING ALONG

The six-person canoe team of Mike Sproul, Laurie Sproul, Bob Nadeau, Anthony Phillips, Chris Deane and Dan Littlefield finished the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis Piscataquis River Race in third place. The team competed in the Class One category of open speed challenge.

The six-person team finished with a 53:51 time placing them behind race winner the Penobscot Nation team and three-time defending champions Rick and Renee O’Donald, who captained the seven-person war canoe.
