    Nine-year-old James Jankunas of Dover-Foxcroft took part in the fourth annual Cub Tracks Youth Triathlon April 20 in Orono. In the age 7-9 division Jankunas placed 23rd out a field of 65 participants with a time of 27 minutes, 16 seconds.

    Five runners from the region took part in the sixth annual Healthy High 5K in Orono on April 20.
 Krystle Parkman, 26, of Brownville came in 125th out of 411 finishers with a time of 26:21. Also running in the race was Anna Perkins, 24 of Dover-Foxcroft, who was 240th with a time of 30:31; Sarah Dubay, 37, of Dover-Foxcroft; 321st at 33:35; David Perkins, 54, of Dover-Foxcroft, 374th at 40:38; and Cary Libby, 41, of Dover-Foxcroft, 387th at 44:09.
    In the Healthy High 10K Lori Sharrow, 47, of Dover-Foxcroft, placed 92nd out of 140 with a time of 59:39.
