Regional Financial Aid Night

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Thursday, Nov. 5 the Finance Authority of Maine along with Foxcroft Academy, Tri County Technical Center, Penquis Valley High School, Piscataquis Community Secondary School and Dexter Regional High School will host the third annual Regional Financial Aid Night. The information session will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Center Theatre.

The evening will begin with a mini college fair in the lobby from 5:30-6 p.m. Admissions representatives from Eastern Maine Community College, Husson University, Thomas College and the University of Maine will be on hand to answer questions from parents and students. During this time, food prepared by Tri County Technical Center’s Culinary Arts program will also be served.

From 6 until 6:45 p.m., families will find their way into the theatre to hear admissions reps answer inquiries from seniors who wrote questions down in advance. At 6:45, the evening will be turned over to the Finance Authority of Maine. At this time parents and students will learn the ins and outs of the financial aid process and have an opportunity to ask questions of the experts. Prizes will be drawn at the end of the evening.
