THERAPY ITEMS CONTRIBUTION

Living Word Assembly of God Pastor Charles Scott recently presented a check to Sue Watson, special services director for RSU 68. The funds were given for the purchase of therapy items. Many of the students who attend the special education program would benefit from therapy items such as wiggle seats, weighted vests, occupational therapy swings, wraps and other specialized equipment.
These items are often expensive and members of the church wanted to help offset some of the costs. Pastor Scott’s son was part of the special ed program until his graduation last June so the family is very aware of the many and varied needs of the program. The Living Word Assembly of God has been taking up Jerusalem fund offerings for two years in order to help with the needs of the people and the community of Dover-Foxcroft as the word of God commissions them.
