Friends of the Dexter Meeting House events
DEXTER — On Saturday, Aug. 8, in conjunction with the Maine Red Hotdog Festival, the First Universalist Church of Dexter building will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a cooling station, water stop and tours. The church is located at 11 Church St.
An extra treat will be an opportunity to ring the church bell. A benefactor will donate $1 per ringer up to $200 in recognition of the building’s 200th birthday coming up in 2029.
On Saturday, Aug. 15 we are proud to feature a concert by Cross Road Home from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the sanctuary. The concert is free with donations accepted.
