Dover-Foxcroft Memorial Day parade
MEMORIAL DAY IN DOVER-FOXCROFT – Veterans lead last year’s Memorial Day parade in Dover-Foxcroft. This year’s event on Monday, May 25 will have procession participants gathering at 9:30 a.m. in the courthouse parking lot before the 10 a.m. parade start down East Main Street. A wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the Piscataquis River bridge and then the parade travels to Monument Square for a speech by Rep. Chad Perkins, R-Dover-Foxcroft. It is not too late for anyone wishing to participate in the parade. Those interested can reach out on the American Legion Post 29 Facebook page or at 207-564-0807.
