Highlands Regional League of Women Voters Maine events

The Highlands Regional League of Women Voters Maine has several events scheduled prior to the primary on Tuesday, June 9.

On Tuesday, May 5 the Highlands Regional LWVME hosts a “Meet the Dover-Foxcroft Select Board Candidates Forum” from 5:30-6:30 pm. at the Thompson Free Library.

On Tuesday, May 12 the Highlands Regional LWVME presents “Your Guide to Voting in Primary Elections” from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Thompson Free Library.

On Wednesday, May 27 the Highlands Regional LWVME presents “Your Guide to Voting in Primary Elections” from 4-5 p.m. at the Guilford Memorial Library.

The May 12 and May 27 events will cover political party vs “unenrolled” voters;  

What are semi-open primaries?;

Getting ready for the June 9 primary elections;

Ranked choice voting; and 

A summary of everything you need to know to vote in the primary election.
