Conlogue named NAC Field Athlete of the Week

BANGOR — Husson University junior Abigail Conlogue, a resident of Brownville and a Penquis Valley High School graduate, has been named North Atlantic Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

She earned her second NAC award after putting together another standout performance in the javelin throw at the Monks Invitational on April 11 at St. Joseph’s College in Standish, winning the event with a throw of 36.64 meters which also met the Division III New England standard and set a new personal-best. Conlogue also took part in the hammer throw, recording a distance of 28.72 meters to come in 18th.

Conlogue is majoring in health sciences at Husson.
