Parkman Grange spring events

PARKMAN — The Daddy Daughter Dance will be from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 at the Parkman Grange. Young ladies are invited to come with a favorite adult in their life. Steve Boddy will be spinning tunes and having fun dance games with prizes. A keepsake photo will be taken to remember this special night. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is $5 each at the door.

Saturday, May 9 will be the 24th annual Mother’s Day Tea. This year the guest of honor is Katie Landry. This popular event includes live entertainment, lots of door prizes, 50/50 raffle and tea sandwiches, desserts and beverages. All of this for $5. Reservations are required, call Sue Manchester at 207-717-6248

Minnie Bridge Scholarship applications are now available on the bulletin board on the Grange porch or Parkman Town Office. This $500 award is for SAD 4 area students who have completed one year of higher education. Deadline is July 24.

Meetings are held at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month. You do not need to be a Parkman resident, if you would like to make a difference in our community please join us. The Parkman Grange is located at the corner of State Hwy 150 and North Dexter Road.
