The 62-35 final improved Foxcroft to 14-3, with the Ponies winning the fourth game in a row and fifth of the last six contests. The victory kept the team in third place in the regional Heal Point standings with one game to play, a road contest at fourth-ranked Dexter Regional High School (10-6) set for Wednesday evening. The Ponies defeated the visiting Tigers in the first matchup, 47-39 back on Dec. 16.
Foxcroft, which this season moved down to Class C from Class B North under the revised classification system, finished 8-1 on the “Champs of 1975 Court” in 2025-26, with the lone loss coming by one point against 51-50 to Class B Hermon High School. The Ponies only losses came against Class B North opponents, twice to Hermon and at Caribou High School.

Pony senior Kassidy Lebel followed with a 3-pointer to put the team ahead again and start the 13-3 run. Lebel had two shots from the floor and a free throw for eight of the 13 points.
She ended the day with 14 points as Lebel and junior Alli Cook both finished with a game-high 14 points. Cook’s 14 all came in the second and third quarters on two 3-pointers and four other shots from the floor.
