Foxcroft wrestling finishes fifth at Husky Classic

PITTSFIELD —  The Foxcroft Academy wrestling team finished with a score of 114.5 points to place fifth at the Husky Classic on Saturday, Dec. 27 at Maine Central Institute. The Ponies had the fifth-most points among a field of 17 teams.

Two Foxcroft wrestlers finished in second place. Hayden Harrison was the runner-up at 157 pounds and Alex Hanson came in second at 165 pounds.

Four Ponies placed third by winning consolation finals matches. The four are Sal Rizzatello at 106 pounds, Nick McCorrison at 138 pounds, Jacobi Poire at 175 pounds and Tyler Wing at 215 pounds.
