Pine Tree Hospice offers free listing of private duty care providers

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Pine Tree Hospice, a non-medical, non-profit volunteer hospice organization in Dover-Foxcroft, is inviting private duty care providers to be included in its free private duty provider directory.

This directory is shared with families and individuals seeking in-home care or hospice support that extends beyond Pine Tree Hospice’s non-medical mission. The goal is to connect those facing life-limiting illnesses with trusted providers who can help enhance and honor quality of life for both clients and their caregivers. This resource is intended for those that need extra support, but who may not qualify for in-home care services or who are on waitlists for such services. Pine Tree Hospice serves all of Piscataquis County and parts of Penobscot and Somerset counties. The directory is shared at no cost to families and providers alike.

The directory is intended to save both the caregiver and provider time when selecting appropriate care. Private duty caregivers who wish to be listed in this resource may include their name, contact information, credentials, areas served, services offered, hourly rates and availability. Participation in the directory is completely free and the resource is updated every six months.
