Friday, Nov. 7
MILO: SAD 41’s Veterans Day program starts at 9 a.m. at the Penquis Valley School. The American Legion Department of Maine historian will be the guest speaker.
Monday, Nov. 10
DOVER-FOXCROFT: The Foxcroft Academy Veterans Day celebration starts at 10:30 a.m., veterans should arrive by 10:15 a.m. The ceremony will honor veterans with music, readings and student speakers. After the assembly, the student council will host a reception in the gym lobby.
GREENVILLE: Greenville Consolidated School’s annual Veterans Day program begins at 1 p.m. in the Oakes Auditorium.
GUILFORD: The PCSS Veterans Day Assembly begins at 9:30 a.m. in the gym with doors opening at 9 a.m. to the public.
Tuesday, Nov. 11
MILO: Three Rivers Kiwanis’ annual Veterans Day dinner is served at noon, with doors at 11 a.m. and the Brownville and Milo American Legion Posts conducting the POW/MIA ceremony at 11:45 a.m. For home delivery, call Nancy Harrigan at 207-943-3677.
MONSON: The Monson American Legion Post invites the public to attend a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Post, 159 North Guilford Road. After the ceremony the Legion members will have an outdoor volley salute to veterans, followed by a small luncheon.
SANGERVILLE: A Veterans Day ceremony will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial.
SANGERVILLE: Join the Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft on Church Street for a free Veterans Day luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with soup, sandwich and a sweet.
