CYCL-A-THON — Friends of Community Fitness’ 5th annual Cycl-a-thon on Oct. 18 had over 125 participants covering 375 2-mile loops to raise more than $40,000 for programs, facilities and equipment at the facility in Guilford.

“The energy and community spirit this year were incredible,” said Allen Drew, board president of Friends of Community Fitness. “This event continues to grow every year, and the funds raised help us keep our membership rates affordable while maintaining our facility and quality equipment.”

Friends of Community Fitness is proud to note that membership rates have remained unchanged since 2019. The organization continues to serve the region by offering over 40 programs weekly for people of all ages and abilities. These programs not only support physical fitness but also promote mental health, social connection and overall well-being.

Friends of Community Fitness extends heartfelt thanks to all participants, volunteers, sponsors, and donors who made this year’s event such a success. Plans are already underway for the 6th Annual Cycl-a-thon, scheduled for Oct. 17, 2026.
