‘No Kings’ rally in Dover-Foxcroft

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Concerned Citizens for Democracy joined with 40,000 other Mainers from 52 towns in a “No Kings” rally on Saturday, June 14. Participants from the Penquis region lined both sides of the East Main Street bridge in Dover-Foxcroft and represented varying political persuasions.

Dover-Foxcroft Police Chief Seth Burnes described the event as, “A perfect example of how people are supposed to express their First Amendment rights.”

One hundred fifty citizens participated and were joined by Democratic gubernatorial candidate Angus King III.
