Middle schoolers compete at Almquist Invitational

HERMON — Athletes from three area middle schools concluded the 2025 season at the Almquist Invitational on May 28 at Hermon High School. The following finished in the top 10 of their respective events:

Boys 55-meter hurdles: 7. Piscataquis Community Middle School Elijah Pelley 10.59 seconds.

100: 3. SeDoMoCha Middle School Benjamin Mailloux 12.52 seconds; 7. SeDoMoCha Storm Bjornson 12.98 seconds.

Grade 5-6 50: 6. SeDoMoCha Hayden Jones 7.68 seconds.

200: 2. Mailloux 25.68 seconds; 7. Bjornson 27.02 seconds.

800: 8. Jones 2:38.42.

4×100 relay: 2. SeDoMoCha Bjornson, Brayden Hodges, Jeremii Hutchinson Mallory, Mailloux 51.42 seconds.

Discus: 7. Ridge View Community School Lukas Jiang 85 feet, 8 inches.

High jump: T-8. Ridge View Deangelo Bettis 4-08.

Long jump: 5. Hutchinson Mallory 15-06.

Shot put: 2. SeDoMoCha Braidyn Wing 37-03.75.

Girls 1,600: 8. Ridge View Emma Knowles 6:13.97.

200: 2. SeDoMoCha Alexis Arcaro 28.40 seconds; 8. SeDoMoCha Olivia Mishio 29.66 seconds.
