Foxcroft Academy raising funds for Disney trip

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Academy marching band is going to Disney World.
    After months of preparation and rehearsals, the FA band submitted an audition tape to Disney World to march down Main Street USA and it was accepted. The Foxcroft Academy band boosters organization has been actively fund-raising since spring of 2014 to help this dream become a reality.

    The band is scheduled to march down Disney’s Main Street USA on Wednesday, May 20 but fundraising is still needed to make this happen. Students are currently selling RADA kitchenware products and hope to finalize their fundraising efforts with a  “Saturday Night on the Town” spaghetti supper at the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church on West Main Street from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 21.
    Dinners are $5 per person, children under 4 years old are free. The menu includes spaghetti with meatballs and sausage, garlic bread, salad, dessert, and assorted beverages.
    Following the dinner, continue your “Saturday Night on the Town” experience with the All Choral Concert at Foxcroft Academy starting at 7 p.m.
